Sif Made Lead Under New "Journey Into Mystery" Creative Team

Marvel’s latest “Next Big Thing” conference call with the comic book press is all about the new Journey Into Mystery creative team, and based on the art released to reporters, it looks like writer Kathryn Immonen and artist Valerio Schiti.

Additionally, the cover clearly suggests a shift of focus in the series from Kid Loki — the star of writer Kieron Gillen’s run on the title, which ends in October — to another Asgardian, Sif. 

The conference is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. eastern time and Newsarama will be on the line, keep refreshing this page for live updates from the call.

I… could get into this. Much as I will miss Kid Loki.
