Georgethecat speaks!: Letter to the editor in today's Batman and Robin 23
A letter featured in this issue asks,
Please bring back Scarlet, Professor Pyg, and The Flamingo! The first six issues of the Grant Morrison run on Batman and Robin were unbelievable, and I think that the previously mentioned trio needs to start…

Regarding the letters column in Batman and Robin #23:
YES! I would LOVE to see Jason Todd in a monthly book, either solo or with a team. And let Judd Winick write it!
But you know what I’d REALLY like to see? Could we get Jason interacting with the women of the Batfamily? He and Stephanie Brown were both Robins, both had criminal parents and both died (or “died”, in Steph’s case) as teenagers. Similar pasts, yet very different presents. How would Batgirl and the Red Hood get along?
Barbara Gordon suffered at the hands of the Joker more than anyone except Jason himself. Can Jason respect who she’s become, even if they’re on opposite sides of the law? And Oracle has made a mission of redeeming heroes - would she try to redeem Jason? Would he respond at all?
And of course, there’s Cassandra Cain, Jason’s adopted sister. Unlike the other Batkids, Cass knows what it’s like to kill, but she’s chosen to turn away from that. Could they connect at all or are their paths too different?
Bring back Talia, too! I love her relationship with Jason and she’s totally badass.
Batman and Robin #23 was marvelous and I love Jason’s testosterone-laden encounters with the alpha male Bats. But antagonistic team-ups or conflicts with the Batgirls crew would be a whole different dynamic and one I’d love to read.
